Wilson family naval papers and photographs : of Henry D. Wilson, Jr., 1864-1908.

The collection contains over 600 black-and-white photographs including a drawing of the first model battleship for the U.S. Navy, 1890; photographs of Theodore Delavan Wilson's office, ca. 1895, English Navy ships, Baltimore Dry Docks and Ship Building Company, 1879, vessels in the Columbian Naval Review, 1893, and miscellaneous vessels and places of assignment for Henry Delano Wilson including the Norfolk (Va.) Naval Hospital, Chelsea (Mass.) Naval Hospital, and the National Military Home (Leavenworth, Kan.), 1894. Also, includes family photographs of Theodore Delavan Wilson and his wife, Sarah Stults Wilson, and of Henry Delano Wilson and his wife, Ellen Edna Price Wilson. Also, contains a one-volume account book and journal for Henry Delano Wilson, 1893-1894, which includes photographs of the U.S.S. New York and the U.S.S. Charleston, and many letters that document his orders and promotions in the U.S. Navy.
